Rambal Pvt. Ltd. used its presence at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi to reinforce its market positioning and engage with a wider B2B ecosystem, as the company builds on a 70-year legacy in the automotive components space. Mr. Shibu Appunni, President, highlighted that the platform aligns well with Rambal’s growth priorities across both exports and the domestic aftermarket.

“Automechanika is giving us a lot of opportunity in the B2B segment. We are looking to connect with many players within India and also from Europe and the USA. It is a good platform to showcase our capabilities,” he said, pointing to strong footfalls and business enquiries from the opening day.
Rambal operates as a product-focused, backward-integrated manufacturer with capabilities spanning thermal management and suspension systems. Its showcase at the event covered water pumps, air suspension systems for passenger and commercial vehicles, shock absorbers, gas springs, motors and compressors. Air suspension remains a strategic focus, with most components produced in-house and fitments already present across several passenger vehicle applications.
Historically export-driven, especially to the USA and Europe for suspension parts, the company is now stepping up its focus on the Indian market with air suspension solutions, including applications for models such as the Innova, along with select thermal management products for the aftermarket.

Looking ahead, Appunni underscored the importance of partnerships and market access. “India has a lot of opportunities today, which is helping us move forward and grow our business,” he noted, expressing optimism for the year ahead.
