
Oben Electric, India’s homegrown and R&D-led electric motorcycle manufacturer, is aggressively expanding its national footprint. Following the launch of 10 new showrooms in January 2025 on Republic Day, the company has now opened additional 15 new showrooms and service centers in a single day, marking its entry into four new states: Punjab, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. With this, Oben Electric’s total retail presence has grown to 35 showrooms, up from just 11 showrooms in December 2024.
This rapid expansion reflects the soaring demand for Oben Electric’s high-performance motorcycles and a strengthening dealer pipeline, driven by the brand’s proven product performance and business viability. With a consistent pace of 8–10 new showroom launches every month, the company is on track to establish over 100 showrooms and service centers across 50 cities by FY26. The expansion is aligned with Oben’s long-term commitment to India’s EV mission, especially within the commuter motorcycle segment, which accounts for 65% of the country’s two-wheeler market. As electric motorcycles increasingly emerge as a viable alternative to ICE vehicles, Oben Electric is well-positioned to lead this shift with a differentiated product offering and an optimized dealer business model, designed to deliver better margins, faster ROI, and long-term trust within the dealer network.

Oben Electric’s latest expansion brings its electric motorcycles to Amritsar (Punjab), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Hyderabad (Secunderabad, Kondapur) and Warangal (Telangana) for the first time. Additionally, the company has reinforced its footprint in Delhi NCR (Faridabad, Gurgaon, Najafgarh, Ghaziabad, Krishna Nagar), Maharashtra (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, PCMC), Kerala (Kondotty), and Uttar Pradesh (Bulandshahr).
