Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz: Pioneering AI and ADAS for Smarter, Safer Mobility

Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz, under the leadership of Anuj Kapuria, Founder & CEO, is at the forefront of transforming mobility with cutting-edge mechatronics, AI-driven solutions, and fleet intelligence systems. With a strong emphasis on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), AI-powered safety technologies, and autonomous solutions, the company is shaping the future of commercial vehicle safety and efficiency.

Integrating AI, ADAS, and Mechatronics for Safer Mobility

Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz has been working extensively on sensor fusion, AI-based camera systems, and radar solutions to enhance vehicle safety. The company’s focus extends beyond components to integrated solutions that improve real-time decision-making in vehicles.

“The future of vehicles will be much like an iPhone—an intelligent platform where software features can be downloaded like apps,” said Kapuria. “While fully autonomous vehicles may still be some years away, assistive technologies are the immediate focus. AI-driven safety systems, including cabin and external environment sensing, are critical in making mobility safer and more intelligent.”

One of the company’s key launches is an ADAS-driven safety solution for mining trucks in collaboration with Eicher Trucks and Buses (Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles). This development underscores the increasing role of AI and mechatronics in industrial and commercial vehicle applications.

Structural Shifts in the Automotive Industry

Kapuria pointed out the accelerated adoption of advanced technologies, driven by the rise of electric vehicles (EVs) and evolving regulatory frameworks. “There’s a structural shift happening in the industry—EV adoption is increasing, vehicle costs are rising, and customers are demanding more advanced features. In this perfect storm, technology integration has become inevitable, even in traditionally slower segments like trucks,” he explained.

India is also seeing proactive regulatory efforts, with increasing focus on road safety and driver assistance technologies. Kapuria, who leads the CII task force on road safety, emphasized the importance of integrating ADAS into commercial vehicles.

“We were recently at a road safety conclave with Minister Nitin Gadkari, where he reiterated the goal of reducing accidents by 50% by 2030. Currently, India witnesses a fatality every three minutes and an accident every minute—an unacceptable statistic. Safety technology must be at the forefront, and government policies are aligning to accelerate its adoption,” he stated.

Beyond Vehicles: AI-Driven Fleet Intelligence

Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz is also focusing on end-to-end fleet management solutions. Expanding beyond ADAS for truck OEMs, the company is now working with fleet operators and logistics providers to enhance operational efficiency.

“We have introduced Fleet GPT, a generative AI-based fleet safety manager,” Kapuria revealed. “This system continuously monitors fleet operations, detects risks, and even interacts with drivers in real time. By leveraging AI, we can significantly reduce human intervention while improving safety and efficiency.”

Additionally, the company is pioneering mobile robotics for modular manufacturing, catering to the evolving needs of EV production lines. “Traditional conveyor-based assembly lines are being replaced by mobile robotics, enabling flexible and scalable production processes,” Kapuria added. This shift is particularly crucial as EV manufacturing scales up, demanding more agile production methodologies.

Mixed Market Outlook, but Strong Growth for Intelligent Mobility

Commenting on the market outlook, Kapuria acknowledged the challenges in the automotive sector. “While traditional vehicle segments remain flat, our new technology-driven businesses are witnessing significant growth. We are at the start of the curve, and as India continues its push for intelligent mobility, the demand for AI-powered solutions will only accelerate,” he said.

With regulatory momentum, evolving consumer preferences, and rapid advancements in AI-driven mobility, Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz is well-positioned to drive the next phase of safer and smarter transportation. The company’s ongoing innovations in ADAS, fleet intelligence, and AI-powered robotics reinforce its commitment to shaping the future of mobility in India and beyond.
