Nissan Motor India Private Limited has introduced a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit for the All-New Nissan GRAVITE, bringing a segment-first twin-cylinder technology aimed at enhancing efficiency without compromising space or practicality.
Priced at an introductory ₹82,999, the CNG kit will be available across 16 states through Nissan’s authorised dealer network. The solution is designed to retain full 7-seater usability, a key requirement for family buyers, while delivering lower running costs and improved environmental performance.
The CNG system, developed and supplied by Motozen, features a smart twin-cylinder layout that ensures minimal impact on boot space and third-row comfort. It comes with a 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty on kit components and can be installed directly through authorised dealerships, offering a seamless ownership experience.
Technically, the kit is BS6.2-compliant and ICAT-approved, incorporating features such as Dynamic Advancer Technology, enhanced cylinder durability, and a factory-integrated design with a fuel filling point under the fuel lid. It also enables smooth switching between petrol and CNG modes.
