Michelin Opens Two New Tyre Stores in Delhi

Michelin has opened two new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) stores in Delhi, at Dwarka and Karol Bagh. The stores offer Michelin’s premium tyre range, including the recently launched Made-in-India Primacy 5, along with professional fitment and tyre care.

The 1,500 sq ft Dwarka store is run in partnership with Excellent Tyres, which has been in Delhi’s tyre business since 1994. The 1,000 sq ft Karol Bagh store, in one of the capital’s best-known automotive trade hubs, has opened with Rana Tyres, a third-generation family business established in 1977.

“Delhi is one of the largest premium car markets in the country,” said Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India. He added that the new stores will bring Michelin’s tyres and expert service closer to the city’s growing number of premium car owners.

Michelin now has more than 800 points of sale in India. It has invested more than ₹2,800 crore in its Chennai plant, including ₹686 crore in a passenger car tyre line that now produces the Primacy 5.
