Maruti Suzuki India Limited has strengthened its nationwide service ecosystem with the inauguration of its 1,500th Parts and Accessories distributor touchpoint in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The new facility was inaugurated by senior Maruti Suzuki officials, Mr. S. D. Chhabra, Executive Officer, and Mr. Kohsuke Hattori, Executive Vice President – Parts, Accessories and Logistics.
Highlighting the milestone, Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said that customer confidence in quick and easy access to certified, company-tested spares remains a critical pillar of the brand’s long-term trust. “Genuine parts and accessories help maintain performance, safety, and longevity of the vehicle — one of the key reasons why customers continue to choose Maruti Suzuki. To further strengthen this trust, we are expanding our parts and accessories distribution network beyond our already widespread sales and service footprint,” he added.
Maruti Suzuki’s Genuine Parts and Accessories network is central to its customer-first approach, operating through authorised distributors with warehouses and retail outlets located strategically across the country. These touchpoints serve smaller independent workshops and mechanics, ensuring timely access to high-quality components for the entire Maruti Suzuki vehicle range.
The company noted that improved availability of genuine parts reduces vehicle downtime for customers, enhances performance, and significantly improves long-term vehicle reliability, further strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s position as India’s most trusted automotive brand.
