Mahindra Unveils New-Gen Rotavator Series with Bold Design and Heavy-Duty Performance

Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s No. 1 tractor manufacturer and one of the country’s largest farm machinery makers, has launched an all-new Mahindra Rotavator series, introducing a refreshed design, wider mast architecture, and enhanced structural strength for heavy-duty farm operations. The new models — Mahavator and Mahavator HD — will be available in sizes ranging from four to nine feet, targeting India’s diverse soil and terrain conditions.

Developed through extensive farmer feedback and market analysis, the new rotavator series promises superior durability, improved stability, and stronger performance in tough tillage applications. It has been engineered to withstand high wear and tear on uneven surfaces, while offering farmers greater reliability during long hours of field preparation.

Dr. Anusha Kothandaraman, Vice President & Head – International Operations & Business Head – Farm Machinery, Mahindra Farm Equipment Business, said the new series reflects Mahindra’s commitment to farm mechanisation and farmer empowerment. “Rotavators play a crucial role in land preparation. Our redesigned rotavators not only deliver improved performance, but also enhance the sense of ownership for farmers whose livelihoods depend on reliable farm equipment,” she said. The rollout will begin in phases through Mahindra’s extensive dealer network.

While the new models will gradually replace existing versions, Mahindra will continue offering its current rotavator lineup to ensure customers have access to a wide portfolio tailored to varied farm needs.

To celebrate India’s spirit, Mahindra has also introduced a limited-edition tricolour-inspired range in Metallic Orange, Everest White and Metallic Green across Mahavator HD, Supervator and Gyrovator ZLX+ models — a tribute to the resilience and pride of India’s farming community.

Adding a technological edge, Mahindra highlighted its patented ‘Intelligent Rotavator’ (Tez-e), equipped with Bluetooth connectivity that transmits real-time field data to a mobile app, redefining precision agriculture for modern Indian farmers.

Mahindra manufactures its Made-in-India rotavators at dedicated facilities in Nabha (Punjab) and Zaheerabad (Telangana), with designs tested to world-class standards and validated across a wide variety of farm conditions in India and global markets.
