Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd., one of India’s leading electric three-wheeler (e3W) and electric two-wheeler (e2W) manufacturers, has entered a strategic alliance with Exponent Energy, the Bengaluru-based pioneer of rapid charging technology. Together, the companies have introduced India’s fastest charging solution for the L5 and L3 e3W categories — the country’s largest and fastest-growing EV segment, dominated by e-rickshaws and e-cargo loaders.
Under this partnership, Kinetic Green’s popular L3 e3Ws — Safar Smart, Safar Shakti, and Super DX — now come equipped with 15-minute rapid charging. This enables short-break top-ups, boosting daily utilisation by up to 30 percent for last-mile operators.
In the L5 category, the high-performance Safar Jumbo loader gains faster turnaround times with the same 15-minute charge, translating directly into more trips and higher earnings for logistics operators. The upcoming L5M passenger e3W — capable of speeds up to 50 km/h and suitable for longer routes — will also adopt this technology to maximise fleet productivity.
Exponent Energy’s full-stack platform, combining advanced battery tech, a smart charging network, and intelligent software, powers the 15-minute charge and offers a robust 3,000-cycle warranty. The integrated digital system provides real-time battery status, predictive maintenance, and analytics to optimise fleet operations. Vehicles will charge seamlessly across Exponent’s growing network of 160+ charging stations, which will expand significantly over the next year across major metros and Tier II/III cities.
