Kinetic Engineering accelerates EV growth with rising sales and expanding network

Kinetic Engineering Limited is stepping up its electric mobility and manufacturing trajectory, supported by growing customer adoption, a broader retail footprint and stronger operational performance.

The company has crossed 600 electric vehicle sales, signalling increasing acceptance of its EV range across early markets. Its electric mobility arm, Kinetic Watts and Volts Ltd., currently operates seven Kinetic EV dealerships, with eight more outlets set to open by the end of February under a phased, region-by-region expansion model.

Alongside EV momentum, the company posted a robust improvement in financial performance. Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹38.37 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to ₹28.90 crore a year earlier—an increase of 33 per cent. The upswing reflects better execution across manufacturing operations and the steady ramp-up of the EV business.

Commenting on the progress, Mr. Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, said the EV business is entering a phase of measured scale-up, powered by customer confidence, network expansion and stronger operating discipline. He noted that improved revenues reinforce the strength of Kinetic’s manufacturing foundation, and emphasised leadership as a critical pillar for sustaining quality and long-term growth.

In line with this, the company has appointed Mr. Rajesh Dhongade as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Key Management Personnel. With over 24 years of experience in automotive and industrial manufacturing—including plant setup, scale-up, component development and business growth—he is expected to bolster operational rigour as Kinetic expands its EV and core manufacturing activities.
