With this strategic launch, JEM reinforces its dedication to provide purpose-built solution for India’s fast evolving last-mile delivery ecosystem and support India’s transition toward sustainable and clean transportation.

The newly launched showroom in Jayanagar is designed as a one-stop experience centre for prospective buyers and fleet operators. The facility offers sales consultation, service support, financing assistance, and post-purchase engagement. Customers can explore the features of JEM TEZ firsthand, interact with trained product specialists, and schedule on-site test drives to evaluate vehicle performance in real-world conditions. The showroom offers personalised booking assistance — ensuring a smooth, informed, and immersive buying journey. With the launch of this centrally located store, JEM is now closer to its partners and customers, and to support them, it has a dedicated, already functional service hub in Devanhalli.

JEM TEZ, the company’s flagship electric light commercial vehicle, is purpose-built to address the evolving needs of urban logistics. With a certified range of over 190 km, 80kW peak motor power, 23% gradeability, and a payload capacity of 1.05 tons, it is engineered to deliver high performance, low operating costs, and enhanced reliability. The vehicle is ideally suited for intra-city freight movement, last-mile delivery, and FMCG distribution — sectors where uptime, load efficiency, and emissions reduction are critical business drivers.

The choice of Bengaluru as a launch market also reflects JEM’s overall commercial strategy. Bengaluru, being an important logistics and technology hub with an existing ecosystem for EV uptake, presents strong commercial prospects for electrification. Situated in a high-density commercial area, the Jayanagar showroom is easily accessible to fleet operators and logistics players.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Shivanand Kalakeri, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax – DR, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, with JEM’s leadership team in attendance, such as Mr. Gaurav Jalota (CEO) and Mr. Kartik Hajela (CEO, Battery Division).

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Lohia, Managing Director, Jupiter Group, stated, “The inauguration of our first showroom in Bengaluru represents a significant strategic step in Jupiter Electric Mobility’s national rollout plan. As one of India’s most dynamic urban centres and one of the fastest growing markets for EVs, with a strong technology base, a rapidly expanding logistics sector, and a forward-looking approach to sustainable transportation Bengaluru provides the ideal launchpad for JEM TEZ. The vehicle has been designed to address the commercial operational needs of fleet owners, logistics companies, and last-mile delivery companies. With its high-performance capabilities, payload capacity, and cost-effectiveness, it presents a strong value proposition for enterprises wishing to optimize operations while making a switch towards cleaner mobility solutions. We intend to make commercially sustainable and scalable electric mobility a reality beginning with cities which are at the forefront of India’s EV adoption trajectory.”

As part of its long-term strategy, JEM is actively investing in an integrated EV value chain. Through partnerships with Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, Tapfin, and others, the company is developing a robust support infrastructure encompassing charging network, financing solutions, and after-sales service frameworks. Drivers and owners of JEM TEZ will also benefit from the JEM Udaan program, which offers assured business assistance.

To support this growth, JEM recently inaugurated a 2.5-acre manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Indore, equipped with in-house skateboard platform to vehicle assembly capabilities. The plant has an annual production capacity of 8,000–10,000 e-LCVs, with plans for phased expansion to meet rising demand.

Through this strategic expansion in Bengaluru, JEM has consolidated its grip in the electric last mile mobility business by being customer centric and enhancing the retail experience for prospective e-LCV consumers. As a strategy for its national development, JEM will increase business in potential EV markets, with the process of expansion already in place in key cities including Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Chennai.

JEM invites fleet operators, logistics aggregators, institutional buyers, and EV ecosystem partners to explore commercial synergies and experience the JEM TEZ firsthand.
