Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts, part of the diversified Ghassan Aboud Group, is accelerating its expansion from Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone, now supplying automotive parts to more than 100 countries worldwide. Speaking on the sidelines of Automechanika Dubai, Rajesh Ram Mohan, Director – Spare Parts & Lubricants, Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts, outlined the company’s ambition to double its country footprint and build a 1 billion AED spare parts business.
Genuine, Aftermarket & Own Brands

The company’s core business spans genuine parts for cars and trucks, high‑quality aftermarket parts, and lubricants. Over the years, it has also invested in building its own brands.
“We have launched our own brand of spare parts called ORIENT for Japanese and Korean passenger cars, and SPITZE for trucks,” he explained. “Alongside genuine parts, these brands allow us to offer customers a broad and competitive portfolio.”
Operating from Jebel Ali Free Zone, Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts positions itself as a one‑stop global sourcing hub for distributors, workshops and fleet operators seeking reliable and fast access to parts.
Stock Strength and Distribution Capability
A key differentiator is the depth of inventory and operational discipline behind its trading model.
“Our whole philosophy is to do efficient and reliable trading,” he noted. “We carry more than 12,000 SKUs and maintain a daily stock value in excess of 35 million US dollars, which is rare for a trader in this region or even globally.”
From stocking to documentation and logistics, the company focuses on speed, accuracy and regional compliance, adapting to the varied regulatory and paperwork requirements beyond the GCC.
In Tune with EVs, New OEMs and Digital Transformation
Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts is actively preparing for a rapidly changing automotive landscape, including the rise of EVs and new global OEMs, particularly from China.

“The very concept of the car is changing,” he said. “We continue to support conventional ICE vehicles, but we are also aligning with EVs and fast‑growing Chinese brands.”
The company already supports brands such as Great Wall Motors and King Long, recently added through group distributorships.
“We are using technology extensively in our e‑commerce platform,” he added. “AI helps us manage growing demand, improve parts identification and give customers a faster, more accurate service experience.”
Capitalizing on the growing digital marketplace, Ghassan Aboud Holding has also invested in Buyparts24, a unique digital platform currently serving over 6,000 garages and workshops across the UAE.

Through a strategic collaboration with Turkey’s Basbug Group, BuyParts24 has gained access to global Tier-A aftermarket brands as well as parts for European and American vehicle segments. This partnership further deepens the platform’s service capabilities for workshops, reinforcing the concept of offering “all brands under one source” for the mobility sector.
Strategic Expansion Across Regions and Segments
While historically strong in Japanese applications, Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts is deepening its presence in other vehicle segments and geographies.
“We are going deeper into the Korean segment and expanding aggressively into American and European car parts,” said Ram Mohan. “Our collaboration with the Basbug Group in Turkey, which carries reputable Tier‑A aftermarket brands, is a key part of that strategy.”
The company’s growth roadmap combines geographic expansion with portfolio diversification, aiming to serve nearly 160+ countries in the coming years as it scales toward its 1 billion AED target.
“Automechanika Dubai is a great venue to showcase products, meet clients and network across the global automotive industry,” he emphasized. “We have participated every year, and we strongly recommend it to everyone in the automotive ecosystem.”
With a strong balance of stock depth, brand portfolio, digital capabilities and global partnerships, Ghassan Aboud Auto Spare Parts is positioning Dubai as a pivotal export hub for the next era of the global aftermarket.
