Prawaas 5.0 provided Damodar Group with a strong platform to showcase its latest products, engage with fleet operators and OEMs, and strengthen its relationships with customers and other industry stakeholders. The company’s participation was centred around two significant product launches – RUDRA PRO AMT and RUDRA VYOM – reflecting its focus on innovation, engineering excellence and quality manufacturing.

“Prawaas 5.0 was an excellent platform for Damodar Group to showcase our latest innovations and engage with fleet operators, OEMs, financiers, and industry stakeholders from across the country,” says Dinesh Sharma, Managing Director, Damodar Group.
The company’s key highlight at the event was the launch of RUDRA PRO AMT, built on the BharatBenz 1926 Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) chassis. The product has been developed to offer enhanced driver comfort, smoother operations and improved efficiency. The second major highlight was RUDRA VYOM, described as India’s first ARAI-certified 15-metre sleeper coach, setting a new benchmark in safety, compliance and passenger comfort.

Beyond the product launches, Damodar Group used the event to strengthen customer relationships, understand evolving market expectations and reinforce its commitment to delivering advanced mobility solutions. “Our objective was not only to showcase our latest products, but also to understand evolving market expectations and reinforce Damodar Group’s commitment to innovation, engineering excellence and quality manufacturing,” Sharma adds.
Building Customer Confidence
The strong footfall at the Damodar Group stall further underlined the level of interest in the company and its products. According to Yash Sharma, Director, Damodar Group, the response is also a reflection of the trust the company has built over nearly four decades.
“Customers today seek a long-term partner that delivers quality, reliability, innovation and consistent support. Our strength lies in combining modern design with robust engineering, premium build quality, stringent safety standards and dependable after-sales service,” he says.

Products such as RUDRA PRO AMT and RUDRA VYOM, he adds, demonstrate Damodar Group’s commitment to delivering future-ready mobility solutions. The company’s focus on quality, timely delivery, transparency and long-term customer relationships continues to strengthen confidence in the Damodar brand.
The event also generated a positive business response for the company. Damodar Group received strong enquiries from both existing customers and new fleet operators from different parts of India. While several opportunities and order discussions are currently progressing towards commercial closure, the company sees the larger value of the event in the pipeline it has created for future business.
“Prawaas 5.0 generated an excellent business response for us. We received strong enquiries from both existing customers and new fleet operators from different parts of India. The event resulted in several promising business opportunities and order discussions that are progressing towards commercial closure,” says Dinesh Sharma.
At the same time, the event helped Damodar Group deepen its engagement with existing customers while introducing its latest products and capabilities to new operators, creating opportunities for longer-term business relationships.
Shift Towards Safer and Smarter Mobility
From an industry perspective, the company’s experience at Prawaas 5.0 points towards a clear shift in customer expectations. Fleet operators are increasingly looking beyond basic transportation requirements and seeking safer, smarter and more premium mobility solutions.

“One of the biggest takeaways from Prawaas 5.0 is that the industry is rapidly moving towards safer, smarter and more premium mobility solutions,” observes Yash Sharma. “Fleet operators are increasingly looking for vehicles that offer enhanced passenger comfort, improved operational efficiency, advanced safety features, regulatory compliance and lower lifecycle costs.”
One of the notable trends observed at the event was the growing interest in AMT-based coaches. Operators are increasingly recognising the advantages of AMT technology in terms of reduced driver fatigue, a smoother driving experience and improved productivity. The response to RUDRA PRO AMT, in particular, reinforced Damodar Group’s view that this segment has considerable potential.

These evolving market expectations closely align with Damodar Group’s broader product and technology strategy. The company believes that continued investment in innovation, advanced engineering, safety and premium manufacturing will be critical to developing coach solutions that meet the changing requirements of the Indian mobility market.
Prawaas 5.0, therefore, emerged as more than a product showcase for Damodar Group. It provided an opportunity to validate its product strategy with the market, strengthen customer engagement and identify emerging opportunities in a rapidly evolving passenger mobility ecosystem.
