BMW Group India has launched the new X6 M60i xDrive in India, priced at ₹1,77,90,000 (ex-showroom). The performance Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) will be available as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) and marks the arrival of one of BMW’s most powerful and visually commanding SUV-coupés in the Indian market.

Design: Commanding Presence
The X6 M60i’s defining characteristic is its long, swooping roofline and coupé silhouette — a bold fusion of SUV proportions and sports car attitude. Up front, slim Adaptive LED headlights with arrow-shaped daytime running light elements frame a matt black kidney grille with vertical double ribs and an M logo. Gloss black M exterior mirrors, M-specific side skirts, and High-gloss Shadowline extended trim add to its aggressive character.
At the rear, slim L-shaped light bars reach far into the tailgate, while trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe trims and a Dark Shadow rear apron insert complete the athletic look. The X6 M60i rolls on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels with runflat tyres as standard.
The car is available in six exterior colours — Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, and Isle of Man Green — with over 40 BMW Individual special paintwork shades available for further personalisation.
Refined and Tech-Forward
Inside, the cabin is anchored by the fully digital BMW Curved Display — a 12.3-inch information display paired with a 14.9-inch control display, both set behind a single glass surface. The instrument panel is finished in leather-like Sensafin, complemented by fine wood trim with high-gloss metal effect and an ambient light bar with crystalline surface structure.
Comfort seats offer ventilation, lumbar support, and extensive electric adjustment, with an optional massage function featuring eight programmes at three intensity levels. A 16-speaker, 464-watt Harman Kardon surround sound system, soft-close doors, and an optional Alcantara M headliner further elevate the cabin experience.
Upholstery is available in Sensafin trim in Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black, and Cognac, with BMW Individual Merino leather available in Ivory White, Coffee, Tartufo, and Black for those seeking a bespoke finish.
Performance: V8 Power
At the heart of the X6 M60i is a newly developed 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine producing 530 hp and 750 Nm of maximum torque — a unit with lineage tracing back to BMW M and racing machines. Paired with a 48V mild-hybrid setup for improved performance and efficiency, the engine propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Power is transmitted through an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, while BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive ensures maximum traction and stability across driving conditions. Integral Active Steering with rear-wheel steer enhances agility at low speeds and stability at higher velocities. An Adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers, M Sport differential, and red-calliper M Sport brakes round out the dynamic package.
Technology and Connectivity
The X6 M60i runs BMW’s latest iDrive Operating System 8.5, supporting touch and voice interaction, complemented by the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with self-learning capabilities. BMW ConnectedDrive features include Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information, and Remote Services via the MyBMW app. Regular over-the-air software upgrades ensure the car stays current.
Driver assistance systems include Parking Assistant Professional with 360-degree surround view, a Reversing Assistant that records the last 200 metres driven, and a comprehensive suite of safety technologies including six airbags, ABS with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control, and Tyre Pressure Indicator.
Ownership and Finance
BMW India Financial Services offers a BMW SMART Finance package with an assured buyback of 60% after three years or 10,000 km. Customers can also finance service, warranty, and protection packages as part of their purchase.
