AUTOEQUIPS Technology Co., Ltd., has steadily risen to prominence as a global leader in commercial vehicle safety systems. Since its founding in 2000, the company has been focused on developing cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) aimed at improving road safety through intelligent driving technologies.

“Our mission is to integrate all vehicle safety systems into unified solutions for our customers. Integration is our target for the next five years,” said Robert Chen, FAE Manager at AUTOEQUIPS Technology Co., Ltd. at the Taipei AMPA, E-Mobility Taiwan 2035 and Autotronics Taipei show.

At the heart of this innovation is PSVT, AUTOEQUIPS’s flagship brand and a leading name in commercial vehicle safety solutions. As the company’s primary product line, PSVT has become a highlight at key global exhibitions, showcasing its role in setting industry standards for intelligent transportation safety systems.

Advanced Solutions for a Global Market

Specializing in products such as Camera Monitoring Systems (CMS), Pedestrian Safety Interfaces (PSI), Mirror Optimization Interfaces (MOI), camera AI systems, and in-vehicle DVRs, AUTOEQUIPS primarily serves the commercial vehicle segment. However, certain offerings, like their Driver Drowsiness Alert Warning (DDAW) and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA), cater to both commercial and passenger vehicles.

“Most of our products are developed for commercial vehicles, but we do have select solutions—like DDAW and ISA—that are compatible with passenger cars as well,” he noted.

AUTOEQUIPS’s footprint spans the globe, with key markets in Europe, the USA, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia. Though the Indian market is still in its exploratory phase, the company sees it as a strategic opportunity for future growth. “India is in our promotional pipeline. We haven’t entered the market yet, but we are studying how best to approach it,” he explained.

AUTOEQUIPS operates two production bases: one in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China, and another in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Combined, these facilities cover over 32,000 square meters and comply with stringent automotive industry standards including ISO 9001, TS16949, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.

“Our factories follow rigorous automotive quality management standards. This allows us to consistently deliver reliable, certified safety products to our customers around the world,” he said.

Innovation is at the heart of AUTOEQUIPS. The company’s R&D center in Taichung, Taiwan, focuses on developing advanced technologies such as optical imaging and AI algorithms. AUTOEQUIPS holds nearly 100 patents across Taiwan, China, Germany, and the USA. “We have our own firmware, hardware, and software engineers, allowing us to customize solutions from the ground up. This is key to meeting the specific needs of OEMs and fleet operators,” he emphasized.

Industry-Leading Product Line

AUTOEQUIPS provides comprehensive solutions tailored to various vehicle categories, including trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, and passenger vans. Their flagship products include:
ActiVue AI SPC: A blind spot information system designed to prevent VRU (vulnerable road user) accidents.

PSVT BlindVue®: A camera-based mirror replacement system compliant with UN ECE-R46 II and IV regulations.

AVM & BSD Systems: High-resolution around view monitoring and blind-spot detection technologies.

Ultrasonic Radar Systems: Intelligent sensors optimized for large commercial vehicles.

Hi-Resolution DVRs and Wireless Interfaces: Designed for stable, long-distance video transmission.

“We provide all-in-one safety solutions–camera systems, AI platforms, monitors, control boxes–you name it. Our aim is to deliver complete safety ecosystems for our clients,” he said.

AUTOEQUIPS has formed deep strategic partnerships with leading automakers in regions such as the UK, Germany, Japan, and the USA, working collaboratively to push the boundaries of intelligent driving perception systems. With the continuous rise in demand for smart vehicle safety solutions, the company remains committed to innovation and global market expansion.

“The goal is not just product development–it’s about creating comprehensive, intelligent safety platforms. This is how we aim to lead in the industry,” he concluded.
