Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has started production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its Hyderabad facility. Customer deliveries will begin in batches from October 7, 2026, which also marks the company’s second anniversary.
The TRION comes in three variants, C1, C1X and C2, aimed at young riders, families and business users. It is offered in six colours: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.
Before production, the scooter went through more than 550 validation tests, covering power, range, braking, durability with a 205 kg load, and water-wading at depths of up to 300 mm. It also completed a 260-km mixed-terrain round trip from Bengaluru to Hogenakkal.
“We are proud to take the E3 TRION from the test track to the road,” said Sanjeev P., Founder & CEO, E3 Electric.Ai.
The first 100 customers will form E3’s founding-owner community. Each will receive a free extended warranty of 8 years or 1 lakh km on the battery and key parts, plus one year of roadside assistance. The package is worth ₹6,500 on the C1, with its 2.3 kWh battery, and ₹8,500 on the C1X and C2, which use a 3 kWh battery.
