NSRCEL, the startup hub at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and Maruti Suzuki India Limited have launched the seventh cohort of their Incubation Program for Mobility Startups. The six-month program supports high-potential startups, from the early-revenue to scale stage, across mobility and allied sectors. It aims to help them strengthen their solutions, validate use cases in real-world environments, and accelerate their path to market.
The program focuses on startups working in Vehicle Technology, Clean Tech, Mobility and Mobility Infrastructure, Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0 and 5.0), and Green Manufacturing. It recognises that the future of mobility may not be shaped by cars alone. Examples of the innovations emerging across India include Sarvam AI’s sovereign generative AI platform, TRUEassist’s rotating seat for senior citizens, Switch On’s AI-powered quality inspection solution, Volar Alta’s drones and multisensor technologies for predicting equipment failure, Zen Mobility’s electric last-mile logistics vehicle, and MiniMines’ battery recycling technology.
Selected startups will receive incubation support from NSRCEL, paid pilot opportunities with Maruti Suzuki, need-based mentoring from industry experts, and curated industry and ecosystem connections. Winners will also have the opportunity to receive a Maruti Suzuki car, international immersion opportunities, and prize money. The program is particularly suited to startups looking to work closely with OEMs and build pathways for commercial deployment and scale.
Beyond incubation, the collaboration has enabled several technology companies to explore business engagements with the automotive and mobility ecosystem. These include EaseworkAI, an AI-first procurement and supply chain platform for manufacturing; Woloo, a smart hygiene network connecting women to clean washrooms; Siftly, which optimises brand visibility across AI search engines; Innovate Labs, which develops AR, VR, and XR solutions; and Sand Logic, which builds custom AI infrastructure and technology stacks.

The cohort will bring together entrepreneurs, domain experts, corporate stakeholders, investors, and ecosystem partners, with NSRCEL and Maruti Suzuki aiming to accelerate the development and adoption of innovative solutions for the mobility ecosystem.
