Riding gear brand Tvarra has expanded its portfolio with the launch of the new Hyp3 Kids’ helmet range, aimed at addressing the growing need for well-fitted and safety-focused protective headgear for children and young adults in India.

The new range was unveiled at the company’s flagship store at Nexus Mall, Koramangala, in the presence of Tvarra founder Ms. Alpana Parida and former Titan Company Managing Director Mr. C. K. Venkataraman, who attended the event as chief guest.
Positioned as a lightweight and comfort-oriented helmet series, the Hyp3 range seeks to fill a long-standing gap in the market where children and young adults have often had to rely on oversized or poorly fitting helmets that compromise protection and usability.
Speaking at the launch, Ms. Parida said the idea behind Tvarra emerged from observing the lack of thoughtfully designed safety products for young adults and pillion riders. She noted that the new range combines certified safety standards with comfort and customisation, while also aiming to make protective riding gear more inclusive and appealing to younger consumers.
The event featured an interactive product reveal alongside engagement activities such as a road-safety-themed graffiti wall and participation from Bengaluru’s two-wheeler community. As part of the launch, 22 under-14 cricketers from the J P School of Cricket, Jayanagar, also took part in a special interaction session focused on road safety awareness.
Highlighting the importance of protective riding gear, Mr. Venkataraman urged young riders and parents to adopt safe riding practices, particularly the use of properly fitted helmets. An avid cyclist himself, he said initiatives such as Hyp3 could play an important role in increasing awareness about road safety among children and young adults.
The launch also comes at a time when the number of women two-wheeler users in India is steadily increasing, especially among young mothers who frequently travel with children as pillion riders. Through Tvarra, the company aims to redefine the protective headgear segment by combining safety, comfort and lifestyle-oriented design for younger riders.
