Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced plans to establish a new vehicle manufacturing facility at the Bidkin Industrial Area in Maharashtra, further strengthening its long-term presence in the Indian market.

The new plant is expected to begin production in the first half of 2029 and will support Toyota’s efforts to expand its manufacturing footprint and respond more flexibly to future market demand.
The company said the facility will not only cater to customers in India but will also serve surrounding regions, reinforcing India’s role as an important production hub in Toyota’s global operations.

Toyota stated that its journey in India has progressed alongside the growth of the country’s automotive industry and acknowledged the support received from local stakeholders and communities over the years.
With the upcoming facility, the company aims to strengthen its production structure, improve supply responsiveness and continue delivering products aligned with evolving customer needs.
