ACMA Automechanika 2026 continues to reinforce its role as India’s most influential automotive aftermarket platform, and Horse Technologies used the event to formally introduce its capabilities and long-term intent for the Indian market.

Marking its first participation as an exhibitor, Ms. Caroline Méchaï, Chief Sales & Business Development Officer, Horse Technologies, underlined why India sits high on the company’s strategic roadmap. “India is a key market for us. We visited the show last year, and this year we wanted to clearly show that we are here to develop business and support customers with a full product range,” said Ms. Méchaï.
At the stand, Horse Technologies showcased high-efficiency internal combustion engines, mild and strong hybrid solutions, and range extenders for electric vehicles. Mr. Guillaume Tuffier, Strategy & RAE Director, Product Engineering, Horse Technologies, highlighted that efficiency and flexibility are central to the portfolio. “Reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions is critical, and our hybrid and range-extender technologies are designed with that objective,” said Mr. Tuffier. He also pointed to the compact C15 range extender, noting its potential for urban and commercial applications.
From a market approach perspective, the company does not see a single pathway to decarbonisation. “There is no one solution to reduce CO2,” Ms. Méchaï explained. “India will need ICE, flex-fuel, hybrids and electrification, depending on customer needs.”
Drawing on proven experience from Europe in hybridisation and Latin America in flex-fuel technologies, Horse Technologies aims to adapt its offerings to India’s cost-sensitive environment. Already active in the country through Renault, the company is exploring multiple engagement models, including co-development and future investments.
“Our expectation from ACMA Automechanika is to build strong contacts across vehicle segments and convert discussions into long-term partnerships,” Ms. Méchaï concluded.
