“ACMA Automechanika is a very strong platform for us to present the full width of our aftermarket portfolio in one place,” said Ms. Didem Ekiz, Director and General Manager MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility Asia Pacific. “It allows us to engage directly with customers and partners across segments that are central to India’s growth story.”
New introductions include coolant filtration products, cabin filters being launched for the first time by MAHLE in India, AC cooling kits, gaskets for two and three-wheelers, and new bearing applications.
Highlighting market direction, Ms. Ekiz noted, “The growth of the vehicle parc in India will continue, and internal combustion and hybrid vehicles will dominate for the next 5 to 10 years. This creates a very positive outlook for the aftermarket.”
Strengthening reach remains a priority. Mr. Arijeet Gupta, Head of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility India, said, “Our focus is to deepen distribution across all 647 districts and invest strongly in distributors, retailers and workshops, supported by digital tools and higher engagement.”
MAHLE is also reinforcing its “Workshop Heroes” initiative, placing mechanics and workshops at the centre of the aftermarket ecosystem. “They are the real demand generators,” Ms. Ekiz added. “Staying close to them helps us shape products and processes that truly work on the ground.”
