Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has expanded its purpose-built XPRES fleet portfolio with the launch of new Petrol and CNG variants, aiming to serve a wider professional mobility market beyond the well-established XPRES EV. Bookings for both variants are now open at authorised fleet dealerships, with prices starting at ₹5.59 lakh for the Petrol model and ₹6.59 lakh for the CNG model, ex-showroom Delhi.

Powered by Tata’s trusted 1.2L Revotron engine and paired with a manual transmission, the new XPRES versions are built for reliability, durability and long-term fleet use. The CNG variant introduces a first-in-segment 70-litre twin-cylinder CNG fuel tank — the largest in its category — enabling longer range and fewer refuelling stops. The innovative twin-cylinder layout also frees up best-in-segment usable boot space, addressing a major fleet pain point and reducing luggage-related booking losses. The petrol variant, meanwhile, offers the largest boot space in its segment at 419 litres.

Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the expanded XPRES lineup directly responds to real-world challenges faced by drivers, operators and passengers. With the addition of high-uptime petrol and CNG options, supported by long-term warranties, customised finance solutions and fleet-dedicated dealerships, the XPRES range now offers a complete mobility platform across electric and ICE powertrains.

The XPRES ICE fleet comes with a standard 3-year/1,00,000 km warranty, extendable up to 5 years/1,80,000 km. A low running cost of ₹0.47 per km and favourable finance schemes further enhance its value for operators.

TMPV has also developed exclusive fleet-focused dealerships in select cities, ensuring faster service turnaround and higher vehicle availability. With the addition of Petrol and CNG options to the XPRES EV, Tata Motors is targeting fast-growing segments such as airport transfers, cab aggregators, intercity travel, employee transport, rental services and tourist fleets — strengthening its position in India’s commercial mobility landscape.
