Motovolt to Add 100 New Touchpoints, Targets Fast-Growing Utility EV Market

Motovolt Mobility, a maker of advanced and reliable electric two-wheelers, has announced an aggressive expansion plan to set up 100 new retail touchpoints across India in the next three months. This rapid rollout will strengthen the company’s presence in key cities and towns, supporting its goal of making electric mobility accessible and affordable for a much wider audience.

The expansion comes as Motovolt focuses on the largely untapped 5–7 million-unit utility electric two-wheeler market—used for goods movement, commercial transport and last-mile delivery. This segment has seen limited participation from major OEMs, giving Motovolt a strong opportunity to lead. Its flagship multi-utility EVs, including the M7, MVS7 and Express MV, are already being used by major digital marketplaces and third-party logistics players. The company now aims to bring the same solutions directly to small business owners, delivery partners and individual entrepreneurs through its growing dealership network.

Motovolt’s new outlets will follow a multi-functional format, doubling as retail showrooms, experience centres and service hubs. This model ensures that customers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns receive complete after-sales support and the same service quality as metro users.

To make electric mobility financially accessible, Motovolt has partnered with leading financial institutions, enabling small businesses and delivery entrepreneurs to adopt EVs without heavy upfront investment. These partnerships are designed to ease the transition from conventional fuel vehicles to cleaner, more cost-efficient electric mobility.

The company’s expansion will cover Tier 1, 2 and 3 cities, reflecting the rising demand for affordable and dependable electric two-wheelers. With India’s urban logistics and last-mile delivery sectors growing rapidly, Motovolt’s expanded retail footprint aims to provide ready access to purpose-built commercial EVs designed specifically for Indian roads and operating conditions.
