JSW MG Motor India has launched the All-New MG Hector, introducing a refreshed design, upgraded interiors, and enhanced technology features at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹11.99 lakh. The newest iteration of MG’s popular SUV brings a stronger road presence with redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new grille, updated alloy wheels, and two fresh exterior colours — Celadon Blue and Pearl White.
The signature highlight is the new Aura Hex Grille, giving the Hector a bold and confident look, complemented by muscular Aura Sculpt Bumpers and expressive Aura Bolt Alloy Wheels. The refreshed cabin now comes in two premium colour themes: Dual Tone Ice Grey for the 5-seater and Dual Tone Urban Tan for the 6- and 7-seater variants. These are further enhanced with Hydra Gloss accents, leather package elements, front ventilated seats, fabric inserts, and a 6-way powered driver seat with tilt-and-telescopic steering adjustment.
Technology takes a major leap with a faster, smoother 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen powered by Smart Boost processing. First-in-segment features include i-SWIPE multi-touch gesture control for air-conditioning, music, and navigation. The SUV also offers a Digital Bluetooth® Key with key sharing, predictive maintenance alerts, remote AC control, and a modern 17.78 cm fully digital instrument cluster.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India, said the Hector has become one of India’s most loved SUVs since its 2019 debut, with 1.5 lakh customers. “The All-New MG Hector elevates design, comfort, and technology to offer an unmatched value proposition. Advanced mobility should not be a luxury for a few — this new Hector sets a fresh benchmark for accessible premium SUVs,” he said.
Safety and convenience get a notable boost with a 360° HD camera system featuring Wheel View for tyre-level visibility, making parking and tight manoeuvres easier. Standard safety features include ABS, EBD, ESP, TCS, Hill Hold Control, and Brake Assist. Power comes from a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine producing 143 PS and 250 Nm, paired with CVT or manual transmission options.
Building on its legacy as India’s first Internet Car, the Hector continues to offer segment-leading features such as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 8-colour ambient lighting, MG’s i-SMART connected tech with 70+ features, ADAS, air purifier, rain-sensing wipers, automatic powered tailgate, and remote controls via the i-Smart app. With multiple trims and seating configurations, the new Hector aims to deliver a smarter, safer, and more comfortable ownership experience.
MG is also offering flexible finance with 100% on-road funding for up to 84 months and full funding support on accessories.
