
In a landmark development for India’s commercial vehicle industry, SML Mahindra Ltd. — formerly SML Isuzu Ltd. — joined hands with the Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) to host a Joint Financiers Meet at Mahindra Towers, Worli, Mumbai.
The event marked the first collaborative initiative following SML Mahindra’s integration with the Mahindra Group, symbolising a powerful beginning to a new era of shared vision and accelerated growth.
The meet brought together senior leadership from both organisations, alongside representatives from leading banks, financial institutions, and NBFCs — reaffirming a collective commitment to strengthening the financial ecosystem supporting dealers, transporters, and fleet operators.
Mr. Vinod Sahay, Executive Chairman – SML Mahindra Ltd.; President – Aerospace, Defence, Truck, Bus and Construction Equipment; and Member of the Group Executive Board at Mahindra Group, underscored the strategic significance of the partnership. He highlighted how the combined strengths of both organisations in the Intermediate & Light Commercial Vehicle segments, along with their complementary product portfolios, will lay a strong foundation for sustainable market growth.
