Autoverse Mobility Welcomes Industry Veteran Rama Shankar Pandey as Co-founder

Former Managing Director of Hella India Lighting, Executive Committee Member of ACMA, and Chairman – Skilling & Mentor of the ACMA Aftermarket Committee joins the leadership team as Autoverse introduces a unified digital ecosystem designed to empower thousands of India’s independent workshops in their journey to offer credible, faster, and more reliable vehicle servicing.

Autoverse Mobility, a technology-driven distribution platform transforming how garages and multi-brand workshops source authentic car parts in India, has announced the appointment of Rama Shankar Pandey as Co-founder, alongside the launch of the Autoverse Parts Procurement Platform – a fully integrated digital solution that streamlines how workshops discover, source, and receive genuine automotive parts. The platform addresses one of the biggest growth bottlenecks in the independent aftermarket, while creating deeper parts-distribution opportunities for both OEMs and aftermarket component manufacturers.

As vehicles move out of warranty, car owners often struggle to find trustworthy and consistent service options. Most turn to independent multi-brand workshops – a highly fragmented ecosystem with varying levels of quality, reliability, and customer experience. Autoverse aims to bring structure and trust to this landscape by building a seamless, high-credibility supply chain that connects OEMs and OES manufacturers directly to workshops and, ultimately, to end customers. By ensuring genuine parts availability, accurate fitment, and fast, transparent delivery, Autoverse is raising the bar for trust, efficiency, and professionalism across the entire aftermarket service channel.

These two key developments mark a major step forward in Autoverse’s mission to streamline India’s automotive aftermarket through transparency, technology-led processes, and trusted supply partnerships.

Rama brings a rich blend of operational excellence and strategic foresight, shaped over two decades across the automotive, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. His career spans pivotal roles at Bosch, Tata Green Batteries, and Hella’s Indian entity, where he served as Managing Director for over a decade. He also chaired the Aftermarket Committee at the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), playing an instrumental role in advancing policy, industry collaboration, and ecosystem development for India’s independent aftermarket. At Autoverse, Rama will lead initiatives to strengthen manufacturer partnerships, expand distribution infrastructure, and accelerate the company’s tech-driven aftermarket roadmap.

Commenting on his new role, Rama Shankar Pandey, Co-founder, Autoverse Mobility, said: “Autoverse is building something truly transformative – a transparent, tech-enabled supply chain that solves one of the biggest challenges workshops face today: sourcing genuine parts reliably and quickly. With the launch of our integrated Partner App and Web Platform, we are creating a future-ready ecosystem that delivers authenticity, speed, and operational efficiency. I’m excited to join Mihir, Shiv, and KK in this mission to empower independent workshops across India.”

At the core of Autoverse’s next growth phase is the newly launched Autoverse Parts Procurement Platform, a comprehensive digital system that connects workshops directly to manufacturers and their existing distributor and dealer networks, complementing them in improving distribution efficiency. Designed to eliminate sourcing delays and reduce workshop downtime, the platform offers:

• Smart Parts Discovery: A catalogue featuring over 6 million car–part mappings for precise fitment validation.
• Real-time Availability & Pricing: Instant visibility into stock levels, pricing, and alternative part options across the Autoverse network.
• Integrated Ordering & Tracking: One-click ordering with live tracking from supplier to garage for complete transparency.
• Category-wise Support: Dedicated modules for lubricants, filters, suspension, brake, clutch, and electrical components.
• Garage Management Tools: Loyalty programmes, order history, automated recommendations, and data-driven insights to enhance workshop profitability.

Enabled by a growing network of company-owned and partner warehouses across the city, Autoverse delivers high-demand parts through a hybrid milk-run and express logistics model, ensuring garages receive essential components within 45 minutes. Its technology backbone integrates catalogue intelligence, real-time analytics, and logistics orchestration, positioning Autoverse as a unique one-stop ecosystem for India’s independent workshop community.

Speaking on the development, Mihir Mohan, Founder and CEO, Autoverse Mobility, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Rama to our founding team and equally excited to introduce the Autoverse Partner Platform to the market. Rama’s leadership experience and domain depth will be pivotal as we scale operations nationwide. With our new platform, we are strengthening our promise of timely access to genuine, high-quality components – enabling workshops to deliver safer and more dependable service to car owners.”

Founded by Mihir Mohan in Bengaluru, along with Shiv Soni and Krishnakumar (KK) – a supply chain veteran with more than three decades of experience across Titan’s Tanishq, Mahindra Retail, and Arvind Brands – Autoverse combines deep industry understanding with a technology-first approach to addressing long-standing inefficiencies in the automotive aftermarket.

Backed by leading investors including Exfinity Ventures and Ventureast, Autoverse has raised USD 3.2 million to date. The company is leveraging these funds to scale its catalogue, strengthen its technology platform, and build a robust warehousing and logistics network to serve its rapidly growing workshop ecosystem.

Autoverse Mobility is an innovative distribution platform committed to transforming the Indian automotive aftermarket. Its mission is to streamline the supply chain for genuine auto parts, ensuring multibrand workshops receive timely deliveries that support safe and reliable vehicle maintenance. With a strong focus on authenticity, operational transparency, and customer satisfaction, Autoverse Mobility aims to be the partner of choice for garages seeking efficiency, quality, and service excellence.
