BSA Celebrates Gold Star Anniversary With Exchange Offer, Accessories Kit and Festive Savings

The BSA Gold Star returned to India last year and set a benchmark in refinement for large single-cylinder machines. A year on, Classic Legends, manufacturer of BSA Motorcycles, is celebrating the classic single with the brand’s first exchange programme in India, coinciding with the festive season.

The initiative allows riders to trade in any two-wheeler for up to ₹ 10,000 in value, while every purchase of the 650cc Gold Star includes a limited-edition accessory set comprising a tall windshield, pillion backrest, polished exhaust guard and rear rail, together valued at ₹ 5,896.

Sharad Agarwal, Chief Business Officer, Classic Legends, said the anniversary offer was a way of thanking existing riders and inviting new enthusiasts into the BSA family. The exchange programme will run from August 23 to September 23, 2025. Alongside, Classic Legends has revised the prices of the Gold Star following GST 2.0 reforms, enabling buyers to save up to ₹ 23,702 on ex-Delhi showroom prices if booked before September 21, taking the combined festive benefits to ₹ 15,896 plus price savings.

The Gold Star continues to carry forward BSA’s design heritage, with its rounded fuel tank, polished metal touches, pinstriping and chrome pipes blending seamlessly with modern details such as LED lighting, wire-spoke wheels and crisp switchgear. Powered by a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine producing 45hp and 55Nm of torque, the motorcycle is tuned for smooth, versatile performance. It features a 5-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, and a double-cradle chassis with telescopic forks, complemented by premium disc brakes, wide tyres and a finely balanced suspension setup. The Gold Star is available in five colour options – Shadow Black, Insignia Red, Midnight Black, Dawn Silver and Highland Green – each finished with chrome accents and precise detailing that honour the brand’s storied legacy.
