Landmark 30th Edition Sees Unprecedented Attendance, Global Growth, and ISO 20121 Sustainability Certification
The 30th edition of Autopromotec, the biennial international exhibition for automotive equipment
and aftermarket products, concluded on a historic note. With exceptional attendance figures and a
strong international presence, the event further cemented its status as the sector’s premier platform
for innovation, training, and sustainable development.

A total of 97,348 attendees were recorded, with 17% comprising foreign trade professionals from
130 countries (131 including Italy). This underscores Autopromotec’s growing global reach and
relevance. Notably, the exhibition achieved the highest average daily attendance of professional
visitors across European industry events, with 24,337 visitors per day over the four-day show. The
2025 edition even surpassed the record set in 2019.
This growing momentum was reflected in strong interest for the next edition. Numerous exhibitors
have already requested to reconfirm and expand their presence for Autopromotec 2027, reinforcing
the exhibition’s value as a business and networking hub.

The success of Autopromotec 2025 was bolstered by a robust partnership between Autopromotec,
MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation), and the Italian Trade Agency
(ICE-Agenzia). This collaboration facilitated the participation of selected international buyers,
generating 858 B2B meetings involving 146 representatives of more than 110 Italian exhibiting
companies.
The event featured 1,692 participating companies, including 61 represented brands, with 45%
international exhibitors hailing from 46 countries (including Italy).

A major milestone for this edition was Promotec’s attainment of ISO 20121 certification, affirming
its commitment to sustainable event management. This certification validates the organisation’s
efforts in promoting an environmentally, socially, and economically responsible event –
encompassing waste reduction, energy efficiency, ethical sourcing, social inclusion, and stakeholder
engagement.
Core themes at Autopromotec 2025 included technological innovation, data accessibility,
sustainability, and Made in Italy excellence. These topics were explored extensively through
conferences that addressed the future of vehicle repair amidst ecological transition, digitalisation,
and evolving skill requirements.
Autopromotec has firmly positioned itself not only as the most specialised exhibition in the sector,
but as a key driver of the global automotive aftermarket. Through high-impact conferences and
internationally significant events, the show serves as a strategic forum where industry players
converge to identify trends, address challenges, and shape the future of the aftermarket ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Futurmotive Talks will take place at the Tecnopolo in Bologna on 21–22 May 2026,
while the next edition of Autopromotec is scheduled from 26–29 May 2027 at the BolognaFiere
Exhibition Centre, promising new milestones and an even more global and sustainable outlook for
the vehicle servicing industry.
“Autopromotec 2025 ends with extraordinary results,” said Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec.
“The numbers speak for themselves – we are a global reference point for the sector. However, what
makes us truly proud is the quality of engagement with industry professionals and their eagerness to
shape the future with us. The ISO 20121 certification represents a vital step towards a more
conscious, responsible way of hosting trade events.”
“These outcomes are no accident – they reflect the expertise and collaborative strength of the entire
automotive aftermarket supply chain. I thank all the companies that continue to believe in our vision,
and all those who contribute with passion and competence to this powerful platform for technology,
innovation, and foresight. The figures we present are certified, reinforcing our transparency,
credibility, and the results of dedicated teamwork. Autopromotec is far more than an exhibition – it is
a strategic engine driving the sector’s evolution and readiness for future challenges.”
