Wheels India and Axles India – Innovating for the EV Era

At BMGE 2025 – The Components Show, Srivats Ram, MD, Wheels India and Director, Axles India, members of the TSF Group, shared insights into the TSF Group’s automotive advancements and global strategies. As key players in the Indian automotive landscape, Wheels India and Axles India are seizing opportunities to innovate and expand on both domestic and international fronts.

Innovations on Display

At the expo, Wheels India and Axles India highlighted a range of advanced products tailored to meet the evolving demands of both domestic and global markets. Speaking about their approach, Srivats Ram noted, “The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is an essential platform for showcasing new technologies and solutions that cater to emerging market needs. We are proud to present products that reflect our commitment to innovation and sustainability.”

Among the key exhibits were:

Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS): Developed specifically for electric buses, this solution reduces air consumption, enhancing energy efficiency and optimizing compressor operation. “This technology is aligned with the growing demand for sustainable and energy-efficient electric vehicles,” shared Ram.

Tyre Pressure Maintenance System: A first-of-its-kind product in India, WATIS maintains tyre pressure on moving vehicles, improving fuel efficiency and extending tyre life. “We’ve demonstrated the significant benefits of this system, and it’s gaining interest from OEMs and fleet operators alike,” Ram added.

The company also showcased Central Tyre Inflation System and Lightweight Aluminium Wheels at its stand.

On the Axles India side, the spotlight was on heavy-duty axles for mining applications and an innovative e-axle housing developed for electric buses. “These products reflect our focus on meeting heavier load requirements while supporting the transition to electric mobility,” explained Ram.

Driving the EV Revolution

The rapid growth of electric buses was a central theme at Bharat Mobility 2025, and Wheels India positioned itself as a key player in this transformative shift. “The ECAS system, for instance, is designed to maximize energy efficiency in electric buses by reducing power consumption,” said Ram. The showcased technologies underline the company’s proactive approach to addressing the specific needs of EVs while contributing to a sustainable future.

A Platform for Collaboration

For Wheels India and Axles India, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo was not just about showcasing products but also about engaging with OEMs and other stakeholders. “The expo is a vital platform for us to present new technologies to our customers and explore collaborative opportunities. Many OEMs and fleet operators are looking for innovative solutions, and this event helps bridge that gap,” said Ram.
