Toyota Kirloskar Motor has achieved a significant milestone with cumulative sales of over two lakh units of the Innova HyCross in India, underlining strong customer acceptance of hybrid technology and the model’s growing popularity in the premium MPV segment.

Since its launch in November 2022, the Innova HyCross has consistently gained traction, combining Toyota’s core strengths of quality, durability and reliability with modern design and advanced technology. The milestone also reflects rising customer confidence in self-charging hybrid solutions as a practical step towards sustainable mobility.
Built on Toyota’s TNGA platform, the HyCross is powered by a 5th generation strong hybrid system paired with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, delivering 186 PS while offering high fuel efficiency. The hybrid system enables up to 60% driving in electric mode, enhancing both efficiency and environmental performance.
The model also offers a petrol variant, along with premium features such as powered Ottoman seats, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, Toyota Safety Sense and over 65 connected features. Its safety credentials are further reinforced by a 5-star BNCAP rating.
Toyota said the milestone highlights the enduring appeal of the Innova brand and its ability to evolve with changing customer expectations. With prices starting at ₹19.53 lakh (ex-showroom) and backed by an 8-year hybrid battery warranty, the HyCross continues to offer a strong value proposition.
