
Timken India Limited, a leading manufacturer of engineered bearings and industrial motion products, has expanded its bearing manufacturing operations in Bharuch, Gujarat. The event was marked by the presence of Andreas Roellgen, Executive Vice President and President – Engineered Bearings, and Sanjay Koul, President – India & South-East Asia and Chairman – Timken India Ltd., along with company officials, customers, and suppliers.
“This is an exciting time for Timken,” said Roellgen. “The expansion of our world-class facility in Bharuch enhances our ability to deliver greater value and service to customers across the region and globally.”
Located adjacent to the existing plant, the new facility will meet rising demand for Timken’s spherical roller bearings (SRBs), cylindrical roller bearings (CRBs), and related products.

“This milestone strengthens our manufacturing footprint in India,” added Koul. “Local production of CRBs and SRBs brings us closer to our customers and enhances our speed to market.”
Built with a strong focus on sustainability, the 55,465 sq.m. facility includes solar rooftop panels, zero liquid discharge systems, rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient HVAC and lighting, electric material handling equipment, and over 900 trees planted on site. It is equipped with fully automated, digitally integrated grinding and superfinishing systems to ensure precision and operational efficiency.
