Among their recent innovations is Setcomatic, a game-changing solution aimed at reducing driver fatigue and enhancing clutch life. “Changing gears without engaging the clutch pedal is a boon for truck drivers and applicable across all vehicle segments, from trucks to SUVs,” he explains.
Setco’s presence at the Yashobhoomi venue underscores its commitment to the industry. The company showcased its full range of products, including clutches, tractor applications, and allied products, while also unveiling the Setco App, which digitizes mechanic rewards programs and supports a paperless ecosystem. “Evolving into a digital-first approach has been a crucial step for us,” Udit remarks.
With over 100 distributors across India and partnerships with major OEMs like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, and Mahindra, Setco continues to solidify its market presence. “Our aftermarket business ensures we’re not tied to the CV cycle. Even when the cycle slows, clutches need replacement, keeping our growth steady,” Udit points out. The company projects a 20-30% CAGR year-on-year, with EBITDA performance exceeding expectations.
Udit concludes on a confident note: “Our engineering sets us apart. Just like Sachin Tendulkar’s batting spoke for itself, our products speak for us.” With a roadmap embracing technology and innovation, Setco’s future looks promising.
