Nissan Partners with Spinny to Redefine Car Exchange in India

Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Spinny, India’s leading full-stack used car platform, appointing it as the ‘Preferred Exchange Partner Platform’ across Nissan dealerships nationwide. This marks the first collaboration of its kind between an automobile OEM and a national-level used car aggregator, aimed at offering customers enhanced exchange benefits and creating new business opportunities for dealer partners.

Under the initiative, customers exchanging vehicles through Spinny—either directly or at Nissan dealerships—will enjoy exclusive exchange benefits on new Nissan cars. Spinny’s evaluation teams will be deployed at dealerships to ensure seamless assessments, while a Spinny-issued “Buying Letter” will serve as valid proof of exchange, removing the need for transferred RC documentation.

The partnership also empowers dealers with more ways to liquidate used car stock and generate additional leads via joint marketing campaigns. Nissan will integrate Spinny branding into its promotions, while Spinny will highlight Nissan’s offers across its digital channels.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said the initiative strengthens the exchange ecosystem while enhancing customer experience and dealer growth. Niraj Singh, Founder & CEO of Spinny, added that the partnership reflects a shared vision to make car ownership and upgrades simpler, more transparent, and more joyful.
