Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Dolby Laboratories have introduced the Mahindra XUV 7XO, India’s first vehicle to offer the combined Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos experience. The launch marks a major leap in in-car entertainment, bringing cinema-grade visuals and multidimensional audio directly into the cabin.
With Dolby Vision, the XUV 7XO delivers vibrant colours and sharp detail on its in-car displays, enhancing the viewing experience for passengers. Complementing this is Dolby Atmos, which offers spatial, immersive sound that moves throughout the cabin, adding depth and realism to music, movies, podcasts and more. Together, these technologies transform the vehicle into an entertainment space on wheels.
For the first time in an Indian automobile, Sony LIV has been natively integrated at the system level, giving passengers direct access to its library of movies, originals, TV shows and live sports in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Music streaming in Dolby Atmos is also available through Gaana, enabling users to enjoy high-quality audio on the move.

The XUV 7XO also expands Mahindra’s growing partnership with Dolby, which already includes models like the BE6, XEV 9e, XEV 9S, Thar ROXX and XUV 3XO with Dolby Atmos. With the addition of Dolby Vision, the new XUV 7XO sets a new benchmark for immersive in-car entertainment in India.
