New commitment features Two-Day Repairs – or the customer gets paid
Strengthening the value proposition of its Customer Value Agreements (CVAs), Caterpillar has announced an enhanced global Services Commitment that will be available with every CVA beginning in 2026.

Designed to keep customer operations and equipment moving, CVAs that include dealer labour will now offer a Two-Day Repair commitment for common repairs – ensuring equipment is returned to service quickly, or the customer gets paid. The enhanced Services Commitment also introduces Parts Next-Day availability, covering maintenance, wear, and repair parts for pickup at the customer’s requested dealer location.
“Our new Services Commitment program with a CVA is all about offering customers hassle-free, peace-of-mind equipment ownership,” said Ebban Clause, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Construction Industries Services Division. “Customers facing downtime need to act fast, and they need parts to get equipment back up and running quickly. This new Services Commitment delivers exactly that – Two-Day Repairs, Parts Next-Day, or the customer gets paid.”
Simplifying Equipment Ownership
The new Services Commitment further simplifies equipment ownership by minimising downtime and improving service predictability. The Parts Next-Day commitment supports faster recovery when unplanned events occur, helping customers maintain productivity.
Cat CVAs are customisable to specific customer needs and offer flexibility through equipment coverage options, along with portability and transferability features. Customers also benefit from 24/7 access to asset insights via equipment health management tools such as VisionLink™ and Cat Inspect.
As part of the CVA, customers receive expert support from their local Cat dealer, along with access to genuine Cat parts and fluids for scheduled maintenance. Planned maintenance services are delivered at the customer’s preferred location and timing, supporting smoother operations and improved lifecycle management.
Phased Global Rollout from 2026
The global rollout of CVAs featuring the new Services Commitment will begin in the first quarter of 2026, continuing through the year and into 2027, subject to regional availability. Customers are advised to contact their local Cat dealer for details on availability, major repair commitments, and the applicable terms and conditions of the new Services Commitment coverage.
