Built for Every Load – Goldhofer’s Multi-Sector Line-Up at bauma 2025

At bauma 2025, the world’s largest trade fair for construction machinery and vehicles, Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft showcased several groundbreaking innovations in heavy transport. Held at Messe Munich from April 7 to 13, Goldhofer once again demonstrated its engineering leadership with application-driven solutions across multiple industries.

At stand FN.819 in the North outdoor area, Goldhofer presented a wide array of cutting-edge transport technologies, with several key innovations making their exclusive debut at the show.

Self-Propelled Modular Transporter with Hydraulic Widening and E-PowerPack
Goldhofer’s regular product demonstrations at bauma 2025 featured a major highlight: a PST/SL-E split self-propelled modular transporter with hydraulic widening. With a variable width from 3,000 mm to 5,100 mm and axle loads of up to 45 tonnes, this system is ideal for transporting bulky and heavy loads securely and efficiently. The hydraulic widening feature offers enhanced load stability and reduces the number of axle lines required for a given application.

The showcased combination was powered by Goldhofer’s newly developed E-PowerPack.
“We leveraged synergies from our Airport Technology division – particularly our expertise with all-electric aircraft tow tractors – to deliver a mature, high-performance solution for the heavy-haul sector,” said Robert Steinhauser, Vice President Sales and Service at Goldhofer.

ARCUS P 5 with »CARGOPLUS«: Ultra-Low Loading Height, Maximum Payload
Another standout at the Goldhofer stand was the ARCUS P 5 with CARGOPLUS tires, offering an ultra-low loading height of just 735 mm and a suspension stroke of 500 mm. Combined with high payload capacity, forced- and friction-steered axles, and centralised controls, this model ensured precise cornering and efficient handling.

“With its low loading height and high manoeuvrability, the ARCUS P sets new industry benchmarks,” said Dennis Leschensky, Director Sales Europe / North Africa. “Its innovative design, combined with TRAFFIDECK GOTM flooring and advanced load-securing features, delivers unbeatable safety and efficiency.”

Leading the Wind Power Segment: RA 3-100 and PST/SL-E
Goldhofer also showcased the RA 3-100 (4+7), designed for transporting wind turbine tower sections. With a payload capacity of 100 tonnes and a stroke of 2,000 mm, the RA 3-100 ensures safe and efficient transport with maximum lateral stability. Features such as air-suspension axles, free-turning devices, adjustable rear steering, and a one-man-operated 4-point clamping system ensure high performance and safety during tower loading and unloading.

The PST/SL-E split, first introduced at bauma 2022, was again on display, having firmly established its position as a fleet essential.

“The PST/SL-E split is a game changer,” said Jean-Philippe Martin, Director Sales International Business. “Its drive axles reduce the total number of axle lines needed, increasing efficiency and reducing fuel use.”

Thanks to hydraulic widening and advanced support circuits, the system handles high-centre-of-gravity loads with enhanced rollover stability. Available in 4- and 6-axle versions, and compatible with accessories for 1½ combinations, it is especially suited for transporting turbine blades.
