Brakes India Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations

Brakes India, part of the TSF Group, made a powerful impression at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 – The Components Show. Under the stewardship of Sriram Viji, Managing Director, the company highlighted its innovations, technological advancements, and global ambitions.

A Positive Start and Customer Engagement

“The sentiment at Bharat Mobility 2025 has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Sriram. “We’ve been fortunate to have a prime location at the expo, which has drawn a steady stream of customer visits from the very first day.” He lauded the expo’s ability to create an engaging platform that fosters meaningful interactions with stakeholders across the automotive sector.

Innovations in Braking for EVs

Brakes India showcased several breakthroughs tailored for the evolving electric and hybrid vehicle market:

  1. E-Boost Technology: “We are introducing a non-vacuum-based brake booster called the motor-on actuator. It seamlessly blends pedal-applied brake force with regenerative braking for both efficiency and safety,” explained Sriram. This technology is expected to be a cornerstone for modern electric and hybrid vehicles in the near future.
  2. Motor-on-Drum Brake: Highlighted as a high-performance product ready for production, this innovation has garnered significant orders domestically and internationally.
  3. Opposed Piston Caliper: Designed for high-end electric vehicles, this caliper meets the demands of high acceleration, braking performance, and low drag. “With wheels becoming more open in design, this product not only delivers exceptional performance but also adds aesthetic appeal,” Sriram noted.
