At the Taipei AMPA, E-Mobility Taiwan 2035, and Autotronics Taipei shows, the spotlight was on innovation in mobility, and one standout exhibitor was Yajiadi Precision Industry Co., Ltd., the powerhouse behind the AGT Shock brand. Founded in 2014, the company has quickly risen to prominence as Taiwan’s top manufacturer of inverted fork coilovers—building a reputation that extends across Asia and beyond.
“AGT Shock was founded in 2014. Right now, AGT has become the number one embedded coilover brand in Taiwan and the Asia market. We’ve already expanded to over 30 countries,” said Aaron Hsieh, Vice President of AGT Shock.
A Niche in Suspension Mastery
AGT Shock specializes in inverted fork coilovers, a technology offering superior ride comfort and performance. Unlike traditional coilovers, inverted forks are longer, more robust, and deliver greater lateral force resistance, making them the preferred choice for high-performance and specialized vehicles.
“You can see the structure is very complicated. That’s why we say our product is high-end. It’s not just about performance—it’s also about comfort and strength,” Aaron explained while showcasing the product on-site. Their line-up includes over 1,000 items—shock absorbers, forks, pistons, and custom components—all engineered in-house in Taiwan using high-grade materials and advanced machining technologies.

“We only manufacture in Taiwan, but our products are used worldwide—from the U.S. and China to Japan and even the Indian market through local resellers,” he added.
Precision at the Core
AGT’s facilities span over 2,000 square meters, equipped with a professional damping chamber, CNC turning and milling machines, argon welding setups, and more. These tools ensure the production of high-performance dampers, springs, and shock absorbers that meet stringent quality standards.
“We focus on every detail—from damping oil imported from the UK to German O-rings. Our coilover springs use high-tensile-strength silicon-chromium alloy steel from Japan,” he emphasized.
Their signature product features include:

- Inverted long-stroke design with strong lateral resistance.
- 24-step damping force adjustment valve system.
- Nano-grinded piston rods to reduce friction.
- Enhanced top mounts to prevent noise and improve durability.
All products are backed by a 1-year factory warranty and built under ISO 9001:2015-certified processes.
Global Reach and Market Aspirations
Currently, AGT caters to OEM clients in the U.S., Japan, and China. Their expansion strategy includes identifying strong partners in emerging markets like India and Indonesia.
“India is definitely our priority. We already have four Indian tuning trucks using AGT shocks in their products. But we are looking for an official distributor to grow this market seriously,” he shared.
However, challenges such as tariffs and shifting global trade policies have tested their flexibility. “Shipping and tariffs—especially during the Trump administration—were a big headache. We had to consider new logistics strategies and alternative markets,” he acknowledged.
AGT is not only innovating but also collaborating with major automotive brands. One notable partnership is with Japan’s Liberty Walk, a global name in custom wide-body kits. “We’re Liberty Walk’s distributor in Taiwan. Now, we’re combining forces to promote AGT worldwide, especially in Japan and India,” he said, hinting at a bigger global push.

Looking ahead, AGT plans to increase brand visibility, scale production, and continue investing in R&D to meet the evolving demands of the e-mobility and performance vehicle sectors.
“In the next five years, we want to become a dominant global player in this niche. That means deeper market penetration, more partnerships, and continuing to innovate,” he concluded with confidence.
