Uno Minda has launched a 10-inch active under-seat subwoofer for passenger cars with 200W RMS power. It fits beneath the front passenger seat, so it does not take up boot space. The company says this matters in CNG cars, where the cylinder already occupies part of the boot.
The subwoofer has a 20Hz–150Hz frequency response and a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 90dB. It offers an adjustable low-pass filter from 50Hz to 150Hz, an adjustable bass boost of 0dB to 12dB and a 20Hz subsonic filter. A dedicated bass controller lets drivers change the bass level while driving. The pack includes the subwoofer, controller, connector wire, mounting clamps, user manual and warranty card.
“Our new 10-inch Active Under-Seat Subwoofer addresses this requirement with a compact installation format, 200W RMS power and adjustable bass controls,” said Mr. Anand Kumar, Business Head, Uno Minda Aftermarket. “Its under-seat installation gives car owners a convenient way to enhance their in-car audio experience without using up additional space inside the vehicle.”
It will be sold at an MRP of ₹13,999 through offline automotive retail outlets and online platforms, including Uno Minda Kart, Amazon and Flipkart.
