Revolt Motors, India’s No.1 electric motorcycle brand, has appointed Roy Kurian as its new President, marking a significant step in the company’s journey toward scale, innovation, and global competitiveness. With over three decades of leadership experience across the automotive and electric mobility sectors, Mr. Kurian brings a proven track record of building brands, driving transformation, and delivering sustainable growth.
Mr. Kurian’s career spans 31 years, during which he has held key leadership roles at Montra Electric, Greaves Electric Mobility (Ampere), Baxy Mobility, and Tork Motors. His work in these organisations has been instrumental in advancing EV product development, expanding dealer networks, and enhancing brand presence.
One of the most defining chapters of his career was his tenure at Yamaha Motor India, where he served as Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing. Under his leadership, Yamaha achieved a dramatic turnaround, growing from 2 lakh units in 2010 to over 1 million units by 2016, re-establishing the brand as a major player in the Indian motorcycle industry.
