Mahindra Tractors has marked the 11th anniversary of its flagship NOVO tractor series with a range of premium upgrades, new features, and a fresh metallic red finish.
Launched over a decade ago, the Mahindra NOVO series is known for its durability, advanced technology, and powerful yet fuel-efficient engines. With models ranging from 49 HP to 74 HP, including the NOVO 605 DI PS, NOVO 605 DI PP, NOVO 655 DI PP, and NOVO 755 DI PP in both 2WD and 4WD variants, the series is widely used for ploughing, tilling, sowing, and transportation.
To celebrate this milestone, Mahindra has introduced several advanced features tailored to Indian farming conditions. These include Creeper Mode for ultra-low speeds ideal for delicate tasks like onion planting and banana mulching, mBoost technology that lets operators switch between DIESEL SAVER, NORMAL, and POWER drive modes, and Smart Balancer Technology to reduce engine noise and vibration.
The tractors also get next-generation MahaLift hydraulics with ‘QLift’, offering a best-in-class lift capacity of up to 2900 kg for heavy implements like seeders, planters, and mulchers. DigiSense connectivity is now part of the line-up, allowing farmers to track fuel use, acreage covered, trips made, and performance data via their smartphones, along with a Geofencing feature for added security.
Other enhancements include a flat operator platform, large radiators, an 8-inch air cleaner for long operations, and a smoother forward-reverse shuttle ideal for loader and dozer work. Buyers can also opt for factory-fitted accessories like a fibre canopy, ROPS, Jeriken weights, auxiliary valves, and a 4-way adjustable captain seat with armrest.
To mark the celebration, Mahindra has also launched a ride-on toy tractor — a scale replica of the NOVO — for young enthusiasts. The entire NOVO series now comes with a standard 6-year warranty.
