Kuehne+Nagel has strengthened its healthcare logistics capabilities in India with the launch of a new temperature-controlled airfreight cross dock facility in Hyderabad, a key hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The new facility is designed to support the safe and compliant movement of healthcare products, addressing the growing demand for specialised logistics solutions in the pharmaceutical and medical sectors. Hyderabad accounts for over 40 percent of India’s active pharmaceutical ingredients and vaccine production, making it a strategic location for such an investment.
Spread across 248 sqm, the facility features dedicated temperature zones ranging from +2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C, ensuring the integrity of sensitive healthcare shipments. It operates under the company’s global HealthChain quality standard, which ensures adherence to GxP compliance across the supply chain.
With this addition, Kuehne+Nagel now operates two HealthChain-certified facilities in India, following the launch of its Bengaluru Cool Zone facility in late 2025.
Mr. Anish Kumar Jha, Managing Director for Kuehne+Nagel India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, said the investment enhances the company’s ability to serve customers in one of India’s most important pharma clusters, while supporting their expansion into global markets through reliable, temperature-controlled logistics.
